  • 630-353-4569

Alex Gervacio serves as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries at St. Joan of Arc Parish and brings over 20 years of experience in Catholic ministry. He is committed to forming young disciples who are courageous, faithful and on fire for Christ and His Church. Inspired by the bold witness of St. Joan of Arc, Alex strives to help youth and young adults hear the voice of God and respond with trust and conviction—just as St. Joan did.

Rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and nourished by the Sacraments, Alex accompanies young people through catechesis; retreats, service, and vibrant community life, helping them discover their identity as beloved sons and daughters of God. With a heart for evangelization and vocation discernment, he encourages young people to take up their own call to holiness and leadership within the Church.

Outside of ministry, He enjoys spending time with his loving wife Angela, and wonderful children, Chiara and Joseph. Alex strives to live his life by the words of St. Joan of Arc: “I am not afraid… I was born to do this.”
