Adopt-a-Highway Section Cleanup
The Knights of Columbus and Earth Matters Ministry are teaming up to clean up the section of Maple Avenue between Route 53 (Jewel—Osco) and Yackley. We will meet at 8:30am in the Jewel/Osco parking lot and we should be done by 9:30am.

SJA is hosting a Mobile Food Pantry
St. Joan of Arc volunteers will distribute food to our needy neighbors here in the north parking lot.

SJA is serving dinner at DuPage Pads
St. Joan of Arc volunteers will prepare and distribute about 200 meals to our neighbors at the DuPage Pads Interim Housing Center in Downers Grove.

The SJA Drama Program presents High School Musical Jr.

Annual DuPage River Sweep
The purpose of the one-day event is to encourage volunteer groups to help “sweep our rivers clean” by picking up debris in and along local waterways.

Eucharistic Encounter Evening
The format of these evenings will consistently entail: exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Sunday Vespers (Evening Prayer), a period of silent adoration concluded by Benediction.

Rooted: Theology of Dance
Inviting all young adults (age 18+) to join our SJA Young Adults for a fun evening of swing dancing! Dancers of all skill levels are invited, with or without partners.

Walking with Moms in Need
We are once again collecting items to support local women’s care centers for Moms in Need. There will be a special collection on Mother’s Day, Sun, May 12 in the link at all Masses.

This principle not only describes the dynamics of making art, but is also the fundamental teaching of the Christian faith, for we believe that from the death of Jesus, the new life of resurrection dawned.
